Hey guys Black Friday is around the corner what is a good camera to get and easy to work with with coral and anemone pics

Sony a6000. Got mine Black Friday last year. Haven’t put it down. I payed $550 with a lens. Get extra battery’s and get it for $400 with out the lens and get a better lens either new or used.

I'd look at that one too.

Any camera will do. It's not the camera , it's the photographer.

Look at Lens pricing. Get a kit Esp if you want to use it for other stuff.

A used Macro is around $150-200 for Nikon and cannon.

canon WB FTW for blue pics. I don't know where you get canon macros for 200 but let me know where so I can snatch one up. I paid 800 for my 100mm macro, used is 600ish

Do you have a budget in mind? Plans to use the camera for anything besides reef pics?

You won't go wrong with either Nikon or Canon DSLR. Canon has better in camera WB adjustment, but that easily solved with Lightroom (or similar post processing program).
If you want a camera you can stick in the tank and take a picture without worrying about glass distortion, check out a Olympus TG-5 (or the TG-4).

Following interested also. Best Buy has Canon EO5 rebel T6 with two lens 18–55 mm lens and a 75–300 mm lens.
And also Nikon D 3400 two lens kit 70–300 mm, and the 18–55 mm both around the same price which one would take better pictures do you think?

I was about to ask that

Would I still need to by a Marco? Or the lens that come with will be ok

The Nikon kit lens is definitely good enough to get started. I don't have Canon experience, but I assume it's fine also. A macro isn't necessary by any means.

Best Buy saved $400 off sticker price.
