Black Hornet tank placement?

Hey guys where are you keeping your Black Hornets? I'm not much into zoas but picked some up in a trade a few weeks back. Dude I got them from had them in lower light under LEDs. So I placed them low in my tank under T5's. Some days they are open some days they're not. Thanks in advance for any tips. Maybe they like more flow?

low light low flow is the key. should grow well then.

Mine are at the bottom of my tank but I can't get the ring to show up. Just look blah ill be following this one.

You mean the ring disappeared?

Yeah. It just doesn't look right. Looked faded and blah. I got it from Travis at Planet Zoa so I know it's right.

I've seen the ring in it but it seems to have faded. The skirt isn't bright either. It has put out a few babies like this. It is next to my blue hornets and they look great. Ill see about moving it to lower light and hopefully that will help. I also have them under T5's

IMO, the PZ Black Hornet looks diff from the Ktar one.

sure does I have ktar bh and its a beauty I havent seen Travis bh but looking at his pics they dont seem to have the same pop as the ones from ktar same goes for his bowser

I had them in 120 past and the only occasional pen. . When when I move them to about 75 par they colored up and are super happy. Flow is very low. Almost where there's a dead spot

yea.. for ktar's BH which I have thy do well in super low flow. Mine are looking great at the moment. I'll try to get some photos

Looking forward to some pics. I moved mine down to low flow and low light.
