4 little fellas. Might be showing snowflake barring. I don't know how the head band's fill in but they look wider and jagged on some of them.

Congrats on the 4 survivors, they are looking good definitely some interesting headbands.

Actually there are 5 babies. And 141 eggs left on day 5. I am expecting a larger clutch next time, I have been feeding the broodstock like crazy.

Day 6 for the eggs. there are actually 168 eggs I got a better angle picture and it was easier to count. Clown clutch #1 is now eating oto b1. And you can see barely starting to get black pigment in the picture that has the Greyish background. Cool

Pic updates Eggs are day 7. Baby clowns are on day 17. Took most of the rotifers out with the last water change. No more rg complete, just water changes on these guys, starting to get black pectoral fins!

I'm pretty confident that those are snowflakes above.

Is there a difference in the eyes between the two parents because that could help identify which type the babies are.

Do you mean the difference between species? They are 100% ocellaris. The eyes are still premature as well although I can only assume the eyes will be dark - black. I think the offspring will end up being like blacker ice. Still orange and mostly black.

No matter what I try neither of my pairs will spawn for me and the pairs are both adults

How long have they been paired? Feeding as much as they can eat 5-8 times a day helped me. How old are they? My spawning pair are a 1 year 8 months.

5 times a day everything's on a timer they have been together 14 months they clean the rock and act like they are going to mate but they haven't laid neither pair

Find a friend whose clowns are laying and perform the double down technique.

Nobody I know has any laying pairs and I'm on alot of sites. But i take it the double down is giving them the eggs to take care of?
