Today I noticed my yellow tang has a few black dots on the body. He's active and eats a lot of seaweed loaded with garlic and quite a bit of mysis. I've read a lot of discussions on what to do and still have a few questions.

Should I wait it out?
FW dip him?
For how long?

I have two other clowns and they are happy as can be with no signs of any infections. Just looking for any suggestions.

I'd say try the FW dip, I'm not good with fish but i'd do a FW dip and then a Hyposalinity Treatment if its not cleared up in 2 days.

If it is "black ich", which are turbellarian worms, it should be treatable with Prazi-Pro, which is _mostly_ reef-safe. (Feather dusters and other worms may be adversely affected.)

Update on the tang, bought some Prazi-Pro didn't use it because the dots seemed to clear up, maybe my cleaner shrimp? They seem to come and go day by day. Not quite sure what they are yet, but doesn't seem to be hurting him.

White, it looks like 5 grains of sand though not very many.
