Black mass on astrea snail

Just got astrea snails for CUC. One of them has a strange black mass on it. Could it be a vermatid snail ? Other ideas ? This is my first livestock in my first tank, so I don't want to mess things up.

Dont know. Cant hurt to scrape it off before putting it in the tank
