Black Nassirus/whelk snail?

i saw a few of these small babies in my tank a few weeks ago, looks just like a Nassirus but black shell, not sure if it was a hitchhiker or babies from my CUC, my current Nassirus aren’t black though.

Any ID on these and should they be removed. They've grown to about 3/8” now. And one was on my clam shell this morning.

Whelk snail remove them.
