We got this fish about a week and a half ago. It has long clear stringy poop. Its not white. And he wont eat. In our tank is a fox face rabbit fish, ribbon eel, bengai and pajama cardinal . All of the other fish eat and poop fine.

Can you quarantine the clown? Could be internal parasites.

Well there was already another fish in there that had that and was eaten or died i cant remember. I just dont know if thats contagious. If so can I treat the whole tank? Alot of these fish have been in here for a good two months + and have shown no signs. So its confusing.

Well your in luck, you can treat all fish for internals in the DT.

Frozen food in a cup with salt water. Add metro to the food, then bind it with focus. Let sit for a few minutes.

Suck up the food with a pipette, syringe or a acrylic airline tubing and spot feed them, avoiding excess food to scatter. Note: if small particles get around the tank, it shouldn't be a problem. Large particle not eaten, remove.

Repeat every day for ten days. Works well.

If metro isn't available, API general cure can be used the same way. It may be even more effective than metro alone. It's got metro and prazi in it.
