so i have read that polycarbonate is reef safe,
and i know they use black acrylic for overflow boxes, etc.
perhaps i am belaboring the topic a bit, but better safe than sorry, and i couldn't find an exact answer anywhere...
anyone know if black polycarbonate is reef safe, like its clear polycarbonate and black acrylic brothers and sisters?
thanks!

Polycarbonate is fine for an overflow as long as not dosing 2 part into the overflow directly or using to make an ato that you dose kalk into.

excellent news, thanks for the quick replies! I had read previously that high pH and/or Kalkwasser, etc. could compromise the integrity of polycarbonate as well...for my purposes this will not be an issue....
