I’ve been thinking between a zebra moray or a black ribbon eel. Was wounding if a ribbon eel is out and swims very often and if a ribbon eel truly needs pvc to go in not a big fan of stuff like that in my display. Can I see pictures or videos of your ribbon eel

Ribbon eels have horrible survivability rates and are notoriously hard to feed, i'd go with the zebra moray

The survivability of this eel is mostly due to feeding and the eradication of internal parasites. 1st it's best to have an observation tank where you can treat with general cure for internal parasites. Feeding live food like ghost shrimp, guppies, and mollies are mostly a necessity. They will take dead food with patience and diligence. But for long term will need the inclusion of live foods. They need at least a 6' tank and are out swimming around alot. While I'm not a big fan of pvc, this eel does seem to enjoy having it.
