Black Spot / fin rot

Looks like fin rot or another wrasse is bitting his fins what do you think. Also I can't remember the black spot so I am not sure if that is natural or a disease? So in ?.. The back fins, and the black spot on tail?

I think I see what could be ich and also flukes on this fish. Try a freshwater dip in a dark bucket. If you see sesame seed looking things fall off report back, that’s flukes.

It could be flukes damaging the fins.

Ok, I will try it tomorrow as I don't have a air pump. He has been in quarantine, cupramine for 2 weeks.

This makes me nearly certain it has flukes

Ok I did the dip and there were flukes white and some brown stuff. I did all four fish and now should I use metro?

Metro may help with any secondary bacterial infection, but not the flukes, so much. If you use API's "General Cure", you'll get Praziquantel along with your Metronidazole, or you can also use Prazi-Pro to deal with the flukes - though be cautious of a possible bacterial bloom and oxygen depletion using that med with Metro.

The black spot at the base of his tail and the dusky marking on his dorsal are pretty normal features of an exquisite wrasse.

I would use just the Prazi-Pro, unless anybody starts to display symptoms of bacterial infection. Hit it with Prazi again in 5-7 days, as Prazi doesn't kill fluke eggs.
