Noticed this black spot on my clownfish's fin today. Wasn't there yesterday. Any ideas?

Do you have any coral in your tank? Sometimes clownfish get black marks after rubbing up against coral.

How long have you had the clown? Do you suspect a disease or infection could be causing the spot?

Yes I have coral. I'm just worried because I have a WWC asteroid favia that's not looking too great in the past week, so I'm just trying to get ahead of it if it's something I should be worried about. I've been testing my tank since I've had that issue and everything is stable and did a 50% water change. Thanks.

My clowns started to spot like that when they were trying to Host Zoes.

Clowns seem to host every coral possible and due to that, although resistant to anemone sting, Not the case with other corals. Coral such as hammer and mushroom can send out a good sting. What you’re seeing are sting marks
