I have been seeing black spots on my male and female clownfish lately. I have had them for around 6 months. No anemone is in the tank. I do have a mix of soft corals lps in the tank. I have heard that the clowns could be trying to host my torch coral but haven't seen any activity of them trying. So it questions me of what's going on. Anyone else have had this before with clowns?

Bumping up for any input.

Can you set up a freshwater dip? It could be black ich, though with clowns it's usually what you are talking about (hypermalinization) not that I spelled it right. lol

I don't see them going near my torch coral but have read up on others that is causing the same black spots from clowns trying to host something that their skin can't handle. I'm going to keep an eye on them for the moment and see if it clears up any before making any moves.

If it doesn't clear up what should be my move on this.

Thanks for all the info.
