So quick down low on the tank. All fish are 4+ years old, healthy no disease in a long time minus some bloating on a clown.
The tank has been running for 4-5 years but has been moved multiple times and is currently battling Dino’s.
Parameters
Alk 8.5
Phos less than .1
Nitrate 5-8 ppm
Temp sits around 79
Salinity .026

ive been dosing nitrate and I was dosing silicate for the Dino’s until about 2 weeks ago when my corals just started hating it.

during and maybe before that my large clownfish developed a black spot on it, thought nothing of it and now she’s over a dozen. As of today I new see a spot on another clown and a neon goby.

the other large clown is black and I can’t tell if he has them, but the yellow tang and Chromis are spot free. Is this black ich? I have two hammers in the tank that the clown doesn’t seem to mess with so I’m doubting burns.

Here’s two close ups

It appears that they were stung by an anemone. I assume you have anemone in tank?
As long as water quality is good, they will clear up.

No nem in this tank, just two small hammers.
Also can be from them trying to host with zoas and/or GSP .
Other possibility is. . . Black Spot Disease, which is actually an infestation of tiny Paravortex turbellarian flatworms, and even though the name Tang Disease implies it is usually associated with tangs can also affect other fish species such as clownfish. Signs of this disease are black spots caused by embedded flatworms in the skin and fins of affected fish. Although the worms are rather easy to get rid once they appear as black dots on fish assure they are gone, not assume.
A freshwater dip alone may cure this

How do I get rid of the worms from the tank? I’ll fresh water dip the clown today at some point.
I have a neon goby I’ll never catch though...

also what am I looking for when I dip them? Will I see stuff coming out the gills? Will the spots fall off?

Dip complete. He was in it for about 3.5 min before he stopped breathing heavy. Back in the DT now moving normal but isn’t really leaving one spot of the tank.

I didn’t see anything in the container after the dip or anything fall off or out of him
