Black Stand vs. White Stand

Which do you prefer for your aquarium stand? Black or White and why?
Personally I like a black stand. White stands out to much for my liking, and takes away from the beauty inside the tank :)

I have one Reefer 450 with a black stand (white sand in aquarium), and one with a white stand (black sand in aquarium).

They're both fine. That said, -

Black stand is less distracting overall. Also more suggestive of the 'ocean depths', etc.

Black stand shows all marks (fingerprints, dried saltwater spots, etc.) much more obviously than the white stand.

Under tank cabinet illumination is much more effective with the white stand. Easier to see well into all corners of the sump, etc.

I prefer white sand. You can get it finer than black sand. It's brighter and bounces the light around a bit more. And I grew up on the beach, so I have a soft spot for white sandy beaches.
