Dude, never mind the black "Scopas" thats no crosshatch and in fact that beast of a trigger would destroy a reef tank in short order. These are not "small discrepancies" but potentialy huge disasters waiting to happen....

The pic shown is definatly a scopas, really good fish friendy and love to eat algae. Black tangs are solid black and much more expensive but worth it.

Scopas...black tangs are entirely...well...black.

Oh...ps. Scopas are the best tangs for small systems. I have had two. One in a 55g and one in a 75. I tell people that in order to house any tang you should have at least 125g but these guys are hardy and will do well in smaller systems.
