Red Sea Max E-260 tank. I'm wanting coral and just a few fish. I know it's a preference thing but does black or white react the same way and in your opinion what looks better?

I want to add nature color sand to the list also.

I have black and I love the way it looks but I have to agree with Jimbo my tank looks a little darker than what it did when I had white sand.

The lighter in color the sand is, the more it will reflect the light. It will take more light with a dark/black sand to get the same results as white.

I used black sand and it always looked dirty. I was vacuuming that tank 3-4 times a week.

So how could white possible look cleaner? Please explain...
