What’s thatI like my 'Starry Night'.
+1 for this. I try to keep coralline off the front glass but the sides and back tend to be fair game. I'll scrap half of one side since it's visible around furniture but because my tank sits in the corner the other side is against the wall.Black wall covered in coralline algae.

It's almost an effort in futility trying to keep the back 100% clean. You're still going to end up with the overflow corners, comb weir and outlets covered in bright purple coralline.Black wall. Corralline panels look horrible
I hear ya. It's work keeping it off. I still used to do it on the reef tanks 120g and 150g previously and smaller ones through the years. Probably OCDish on my end totally (I accept that lol) but I think that why I keep going away from reefs. They always seem to have needs more maintenance look to them.. I have two acrylic tanks now (fowlr) so no coralline worries since I don't have anything bringing it in..all caribsea rocks. It's almost an effort in futility trying to keep the back 100% clean. It is. I put my parrotfish to work on the overflow, or rather - he "availed himself" to the opportunity to help rid me of some of my coralline algae. The sound of his little beak scraping and grinding away at the algae always alerts me to his activities!I hear ya. It's work keeping it off.
