I got this blasto 6 months ago and it's been growing great, Lots of heads! I try feeding every head every 3 to 4 days, and I'm just wondering what would all of you do with this beauty.
I'm scared to frag it!(unless I can get my hands on a bandsaw.)
And I never owned one before so idk how it will grow off the plug.
Any suggestions?

I think yours are to young for fragging .I think each head needs to form its own skeleton first. If you don't want to frag take a piece of live rock, drill a hole and glue the frag plug in the hole.

I would cut the stem off of that plug and place the coral somewhere on the bottom. If conditions are right it will just get bigger & bigger. These things are actually quite beautiful when they really fill out.

Would you knock it off the plug it's on or cut the plug?
Depends on how well-encrusted it is. If its just held on with superglue then you can dislodge it. Happy blastos will have so much polyp extension that you will probably want to remove it from a small frag plug fairly soon. I like the discs because they sit so nicely at the bottom of the tank.
