Black zoa's

Has anybody seen a price on these things ? .......i have a couple people that want fdqgs but i have no idea what to charge

pretty easy, take your price, divide by # of polyps, equals price per polyp.

you could do the "cool" thing and charge them what you paid for them, plus your time.

Or you could slap a big ticket price on them and "winning"!!

Those type of zoas grow pretty fast. They normally have a fluorescent green/brown coloration. They are actually supposed to be kept on their own rock isolated because they could take over the tank if conditions allow. I believe they are Palythoa spp. It they are really what I'm thinking, before they were classified as Protopalythoa spp.

Feed them and they'll go wild like a "dark fire"!

Grandis.

We use to get them regularly about 25 years ago the are non photo I use to feed them to a Clarion Angel. They were ugly then also back then most of these high end Z and P had no value other then feeding to hard to feed angels and butterflies. My 2 dollars

Today those Palythoas are worshipped. LOL!
By the way, beware of the Palytoxin rates when handling those guys!!!

Haha for how crazy we got for bright color zoas were all diggin the all black ones. You should probably just give them to me. Maybe a head or two??

those are sweet I have a few black crystal deaths...or ( Darth Vaders ) they are usually hitch hikers and don't like a bunch of light......

just an update on the new black Paly's AKA S&K Nosferatu Paly's......I fragged them into two frags and this 16+ polyp frag is headed to ebay....they don't like a lot of light so they are very low in the tank...... the pic was taken after lights out with a flashlight on them....but they are out during the day as well....
