Blackish spot on clown

Fairly familiar with most diseases etc but not sure what this is? I thought maybe bacterial infection but not sure ..please see pics and note I don’t have any nems which would sting

What about corals? My clown gets black spots from the Paly patch where he hangs out. He also gets them when he hangs in my Goniopora.
 
Looks like hypermelanization from a coral sting to me. If so, it’ll heal on its own most likely. Soak his foods in some vitamins (selcon, zoecon, or vita chem).

Yeah that's coral stings, my clownfish had the same thing but it got heaps worse but after they stop trying to host the coral, it healed up. It's their way of building an immune system to coral stings.

I have some Palys so it could be that !

I do have palys so your probably right ! Don’t see her hanging around there tho but has to be it
