Hello,

I recently added a new blasto to my tank that has yet to open back up and has been gaping it's mouth since being added. I did the normal drip acclimation and started the coral out in an area of medium light and medium flow. I moved it to a more shaded area with lower flow to see if that would help it acclimate. It's been almost 48 hours of doing this continuously. Salinity reads a tad high at 1.027 and temp is right at 80.5. I'll have readings on alkalinity and calcium this evening after I get home with test kits. Any help would be appreciated.

So ran test phosphate and nitrate undetectable. Calcium 420 and kH 8.

It might be sick or it might be parameters. Hard to say especially without alk. But yea zero nitrate and phosphate are generally not a good idea.
