blasto wont open in

I got a small blasto merletti It's been on the bottom of my 24 inch deep tank for a YEAR and it is not opening. My other corals are doing fine. What should i do? I tried to move it and nothings work

nuvo 40 with Ai Prime Hd with 50% blues and 10% whites

mp10 and k1 gyre ice cap

Yes, my no3 is 5ppm and po4 0.024

for po4 i used Hanna checker.

Can you take a close up of the base of the corral? Do you know if you have any vermetid snails?

Your phosphate is at .02? My LPS tends to start retracting when phosphates get too low.

My guess would be too much flow. All my Blastos prefer low light and low flow. If I increase the flow on them, they look just like your picture

This is a great mix. Works really well. The bag makes 1 gallon and will last a very long time.

Before dosing Anything i would try closer to the rock, under some shade and protected from flow

BRS has a calculator to help dosing. Works very well. Not sure using red sea mix, so run the calculator then does 50% of amount needed and retest.

Also, I do not know the concentration of the red sea magnesium bottle. Maybe it has dosing instructions....
