Blastomusa wellsi next to merletti?

Are those two compatible? I have an existing merletti colony, and I was wondering if I can place a new frag of wellsi on the same rock. They'll be about 8 inches apart to start, but eventually they'll grow closer.

You should be okay for quite a while at 8". Merlettis naturally grow up on long stalks when healthy, so they may overtop the Wellsi given enough time. I'd anticipate aggression if they do actually touch in the future.
