Blastomussa in a ball shape?

So I really want that iconic reef ball coral but don't want to wait for favia and Favites. I saw a picture of a ball of blastomussa. Does anyone have any idea how to get that ball shape with a blastomussa?

Yes. Grow them or buy a colony already shaped up. Thats just hoe they grow.

I have a Blastomussa Merletti.

The thing about them... the pictures you see... That's when the polyps are out.
The coral grows more like a miniature candy cane with necks that poke out and twist and intertwine.

All Im saying is, the Blasto I have isn't like a Favia in it's growth pattern. The skeletal structure is very different.

Favia grow more like a literal ball with all their heads attached together. Blasto heads are mostly separated like candy cane/caulastrea.

Micromussa Lordhowensis (acan lord or micromussa) would be a great choice though. They are fast growers, faster than favia by far and definitely ball shaped.
