one last question

So my blastomussa that I purchased 4 days ago it’s mouth is gapping open and you can see his skeleton! At night he shows A LOT of his skeleton and during the day he shows a little and goes through spurts of gapping his mouth! This is my first blastomussa so I’m looking for some advice...anything really! I called my local fish store and he said as long as there is color I can bring him back and exchange that maybe I just got unlucky...

What should I do? Is him gapping his mouth mean he’s unhappy?

Can we see a picture? What kind of flow is it receiving and how old is the tank?

Low flow and moderate light during the day!

May just be unhappy with the amount of flow. They like pretty low flow. Mine will look like that on occasion when it is either hungry or is getting too much flow. Try feeding it and see if that gets it to perk up.
