bleach fumes around reef tank

someone in the unit above me is cleaning their floors with bleach. I can smell the bleach in the same room as my reef tank. It isn't particularly strong and I dont notice any smell by my tank but I do in the same room about 20' away. How bad is this? I am doing all I can to air out the room as best I can.

I wouldnt be super concerned... but you could always pick up a Dechlorinator/water primer for the days it seems really strong. Wont hurt the tank to use.

or run carbon...it will absorb it if it happens to get in there.

or limit you water surface agitation and extend your skimmer air hose to another air source like out a window.

I agree that this level of fumes is not likely an issue.

Thanks guys fumes are gone and it doesn't seem like anything bad happened to my system.

Randy, I just had the sewage back up in my fish room. I used vinegar the first go around, but it smells like a homeless encampment. If I clean with bleach and shut off the skimmer, fan out the floor what's the probability that I'll have any issues. I know it's speculation, but should I continue with steam and vinegar?

Some people dose bleach in their reef tanks so I wouldn't be worried about fumes.
