it isnt dry anymore everything is wet and test running for any leaksIf its dry, I would personally just leave the coralline algae because it's just going to grow back

Yes, i know it will grow back eventually but now it looks tacky dont like the look of that now D:You could pour a little bit of bleach to sterilize it and let it completely dry but at the end of the day I wouldn't worry about the coralline algae like I said it's just going to grow back.
Vinegar then bleach.
Coralline is calcium based so the vinegar will help loosen it.
Then bleach will take care of anything that was or is alive.
Vinegar will remove all that. Just let it sit for a day maybe with a power head to move the water. Rinse, then I usually repeat with just water and dry out for another day
oo im not that patient well before i bought the tank it was on the forums for like a month and been dry ever since,When I brought my second hand tank I let everything dry out for about a month when I filled it up again the coralline just started to flake away after a few days! I then used a blade and it came away with ease! The rear of my tank was full of it

thats exactly whats happening right now, i added 5 gallons of distilled white vinegar and i already seen piece floating aroundThe thing is if there was no calcium and water available for it, it will start to weaken & die, so if it was dry u might just be able to scape it away! Remember it dead/dried. Fill it up see how it goes! I didn't plan and scrubing it off, it just to much hard work! But I seen it pealing so I gave it a scrub and away it went[emoji1]
