On the Clorox website I read that a solution of 2 tablespoons to a gallon of water can be used to disinfect non porous surfaces and can be left to air dry.

I want to use this solution to disinfect a used tank that has been cleaned already. I planned on wiping down the surfaces with this solution and allowing to air dry for at least a week before starting to cycle the tank.

My question is, I should be good with this method as the bleach will of had plenty of time to dissipate, right?

Thanks!

24-48 hrs left to air dry. bleach will be gone. you can give the tank a quick rinse with tap water after bleaching and use a dechlorinator for immediate use.
