All, is this bleach safe to soak the old live rocks? I prefer vinegar if there’s a way. Or what’s the best and easiest way to prepare the old live rocks for my next build? Thanks in advance!

I just used bleach on my old rocks that were covered in Dinos. Check the ingredients to see what's in it. If it's just bleach then you're good to go with a 50-50 mix of bleach and water.

Rinse them out good. Shoulder fine. I would think it will kill c-19 but in no Doctor.

50%? You sure? All I read was around 10%

Yeah. 50/50 is too much. You don't have to make your rocks bone white, you just have to sanitize them. 10% should be more than plenty.

I would have spend about $30 on bleach and the time I will be put on, might as well get new rocks. I would go with about 10%, thanks for sharing tho

A 50/50 mixture woukd be terrible...a small cup in a 20g tank is enough to run me out of the room from the fumes!

You're right I got mixed up with a vinegar video I watched today. It's about 10% for the rock bleaching.

5 gallons, less than 10 bucks. Oh c-19 price gouge less than 20.

Don’t think I can use the one I got. I checked out some videos, and seeing “regular” that looks like what I need. Does it really just say contain: bleach?

Bleach is mixture of chemicals, so it wont say just bleach as ingredient.
