My acro bleached out on me because I'm an idiot and couldnt stop moving it around the tank trying too hard to make it happy. I can still see a few polyps in holes at the base, but I also think it may have RTN'ed as I thought it had some cyano buildup on it, the next morning that was gone and the acro was solid white.
- If it is just bleached is there any hope for it coming back? If so how can I nurse it back?
- If not.. It really is a pretty white, will it hurt anything to leave it in there? LOL

If you still see polyps leave it in the tank. I have had sps come back. Just try not to stress it out at all right now. Maybe try to put it in lower light and flow until it recovers. I dont see anything wrong with leaving it in the tank as far as a negative. If it was a huge colony and you worried about it fouling a small tank that would be a different story.

quick tip when it comes to sps. strong flow good lighting and quality water and they should be fine almost any where in the tank. good luck.

ricky,

if you can still see polyps there is a chance it will come back just leave it where it is only time will tell

I am actually already starting to see some color come back. It is now under a new 150watt MH light off to the side, so I think that may be helping it oddly enough. There is definitely some purple in the tips now though (very faintly)!.. unless I'm color blind and its cyano... -.-
