i added two bras to my tank that wasn’t very far along not knowing I shouldn’t have done that but anyways I’ve had them in my tank for about 6 months and they’ve been bleached since like a week of me having them, how do I get them to recover I’ve tried daily feeding them but it doesn’t seem to work, are they a lost cause or is there something I can do?

Do they intake food?

Place it in a higher lit area. Nems are par queens.

Sounds like your lighting might not be strong enough. Can you tell us more about your tank--lighting used, size, etc. and give us your water parameters?
Paremeters have always been in check I use the aqua illumination blade coral grow as of maybe a month now but before the stock biocube light, 32 gal tank

yes they take food but they don’t like to open a lot and I’m gonna move them to a acclimation box and keep them higher up so it’s easier to feed and stuff

Anemones bleach when stressed from various issues such of lack of nutrients associated with newer tanks, Light changes especially if bright in which anemone will suffer loss of zooxanthellae and expel it which is its color and energy source, elevated water temp and even lack of food (I feed my BTA's mysis shrimp)

Feeding could be stressing them more. I’ve heard not to feed when stressed already as it can add more harm than good er

I think that's an improvement, but one Blade may not provide enough PAR for the anemones.

This might be true for coral, but is typically NOT the case for anemones. If they are getting too much light, they simply detach and move. Anemones bleach because of LACK of light--the zooxanthellae doesn't have an energy source so it dies and the anemone expels it.

If they're bleached, they need a food source, since they don't have a suitable zooxanthellae population to provide the nutrition they need.

In short, I recommend feeding (frozen mysis is good as well as sushi-grade tuna or salmon; stay around from silversides or anything with bones) and consider getting another Blade.
