hello, what is the fastest way so my bleached coral can recover, its a palythoa grandis ricordea and some zoas

That's not entirely true issit? I've got a 5 head Hammer, the back two were bleached when I got them. Now one is halfway back to normal and the really white one is showing some signs of green in some tentacles...

Just good water/light conditions, time and stability.

Did you get them bleached or did they bleach in your tank? If so after how long and what do you have for lights?

BRS and WWC also dose amino acids to sick corals. I'm trying it myself. Check your alk. High alk can stress it more. Lower you lighting until they return to normal.

I guess we need pictures?
Here you go. Front heads are doing well. Back left head has halfway decent colour and back right head is showing some returning colour in the lower tentacles. Both back heads were completely white when i got them.

Bleached corals are not dead. They are white from expelling zooxanthelle from the coral tissue. Many bleached corals recover, but unfortunately most end up starving to death or being outcompeted and covered by algae. The best thing you can do is provide a completely stable, stress free. If the corals are stressed, they’re goners.

There isn’t a “fast” way to push this process, just make sure your parameters, flow, light, etc are spot on. Then hope for the best.

Seems like whatever you are doing is working. I've had several bleached corals, and a nem, come back. It takes many months. Feed them, keep things stable. Good luck!

yes I feed them reefroids every week, my ric is not entirely bleached but my paly is completely bleached it doesn't open I try forcing it to eat and it seems working

I'm giving the bleached head a tiny squirt of reef roids every day. That's to make sure it doesn't starve while it regrows its zooxanthellae

Just to update... The colour in the bleached head is returning nicely.

how about my paly though where is it gonna get its zooxanthellae, all the head are bleached!!

I asked for a couple pics from you but it seems that @legrunt kinda hijacked your thread.
You quoted my message when you asked for pictures, so i assumed you were speaking to me, hence i posted pictures.

I will stop updating here.
