Has anyone ever seen a green mushroom toadstool this badly bleached? I’ve had it for a couple months and it seems to be doing pretty good. It is growing new polyps and opens up very well. I target feed it pretty regularly to help it out. I received it from LiveAquaria back in April and it was like this when it showed up. Never seen one bleached this bad but it’s otherwise healthy. Haven’t seen any signs of it growing any zooxanthellae back though.

Hey! The toadstool looks healthy other than the color. I would try bringing it down a bit to get some lower the par. maybe it is bleached from too much lighting? let me know if that helps!

good luck.

Here’s a shot under white light. Like you I believe it looks pretty healthy besides the color and it acts very healthy. It opens and closes very well and seems to enjoy a bit higher flow. I’ve been spot feeding it some reef roids frequently to see if that might help it along. The lighting looks a lot brighter and bluer under the camera than they actually are. I think the lighting is quite dim but it seems to be where the coral wants it given the amount of growth I get.
