I've had this happen randomly on pieces before and they make a full recovery. I'm just curious if anyone has seen anything like it. I'm wondering if it's some type of vibrio.

These are indeed signs of acro eating flatworms, chances are it could be. But ive also experienced something like this before. Its litterally on 1 spot of 2 of my acro frags, its all white, but skin is there. Its been that way for 8 months now, and nothings changed. Id watch for signs of death and algae growth in the area. Also if its progressing. You may want to dip to be safe, and check all your corals PE and color for the time being before you loose your mind.I've had this happen randomly on pieces before and they make a full recovery. which dark spots are you referring to?Tagging along.
It may not be, but, there do appear to be those typical bite marks, and even dark areas/spots that may be the FW's. To verify, take this picture again in a day or two, to see if those dark spots move.
For example....

AEFW are essentially translucent, with some faint mottled brown veining. If that spot is not one, it's a good example of what one might see, if anything.
