Bleached zoas

Found one of my zoa frags upside down and i guess it was flipped for a good period of one and hasn’t been getting light. It opens up nicely, it’s just really white and lost all color. Will the color come back over time? What’s the best way to revive it?

I'm no zoa expert but it it's got flesh, it's responding and it's alive. Then I see no reason why color won't return in time

If they are in a spot they are open and happy (not too much light) they should colour back up over time, got a pic?

yes they will. if you can spot feed a little that will help as well. I have a thread in this forum with a very similar event.. check it out. mine ended up being palys but... same idea.

Oh man I guess I should have searched! Thanks for the help. Are they finally back to normal? Any update?!

Are the babies growing in bleached, if it’s reproducing?

no.. I haven't had a ton of growth but no. what few have grown match the mother colony
