So in preperation for the new build I bleached my new dead rock I got and is now sitting in saltwater. I first sat it in regular water than switched it to bleach than to tap water with conditioner and now to saltwater. I should have gotten rid of all the chlorine correct? If I did each step for a week? I am now about to do my second rock batch of old Live rock I want to become dead rock. will the same process work? I just put them in bleach right now. I would like to make this quick is there anywhere I can shorten the days or anything? Did I even do this right?

If it still smells like bleach I would rinse it a couple of times more, then let it sit in saltwater for a few days before adding it to the tank and fresh saltwater to begin the cycle.

It currently is sitting in saltwater and it does not really smell like bleach it actually smells clean. I did use a test strip and it recorded 0 chlorine.

Might not be a problem imo is rinsed very well.

The othe step is to put it in the sun to dry.
