Bleaching live rock

got myself some live rock off kijiji. Plan was to just leave it fallow for 76 days in case of parasites. A knowledge person advised me to just bleach the whole thing and start from scratch in case of hitchhikers. He provided the following steps. What do we think?

Also, I put some of those rocks in the new tank to get an idea of aqua scape. can vermetid snails detach and possibly be in the new tank now?

I did the same thing but powerwashed them very first, then the vinegar soak and then the bleach soak before letting them dry in the sun. It will be fine, the stench was terrible.
