I want to know is it ok to fill my tank with tap water and add bleach in there and let it sit for a few day to clean the tank before setting it up. Has anyone done that to their tank. For 120 gallon tank how much bleach should I add?

What are you trying to clean? I would think that white vinegar and water would be a safer method if you are trying to remove coralline.

Use fresh water... and let it sit.. anything encrusted will easily flake off with a fresh water bath.
Using chemicals such as bleach will get into the caulking and leach later on.

Fresh water will be a much more reliable method.
It will also kill anything that was alive in fresh water in seconds.

I had a tank that had insane coraline growth on the bottom of the tank and could not get it off when i took it down... Ended up using muric acid to clean it off. But if your just cleaning ... use fresh water much safer

Skip the bleach, freshwater 24-48 hours. Use vinegar in 50/50 mix to get rid of any left over...
