So i tried to regenerate my purigen the other day and left it in there to long. Like 3 days long. So i Rinsed it and decholrinated it with alpha multiple times. Then I
rerinsed it with ro water and put it in my tank. Woke up the next morning and all fish are dead. No crabs or shrimp are dead though. I quickly removed the fish, and purigen. And then did a 5 gallon
water change adding alpha.

My question is can I start to add fish again or is there anyway I can check to see if its safe before losing more fish?

Did you soak the Purigen in ro/di and alpha for at least eight hours? I’ve done it before in the past multiple times with basic bleach soak for 24 hours, tap water rinse off and then in Prime for another 8 hours. Never had any issues.
