Question about melting/receding sps.
i have random pieces that bleach out from time to time. will be growing for months/years then all of a sudden a random piece will bleach out. there will be no changes and it is completely random on how and where it happens in the tank.
i have a 150g mixed tank.
are there any suggestions or is it just something we are just have to deal with time to time?
Thank you in advance!!!

Run a poly filter at all times and when this bleaching happens check the poly filter and see if there's any metals leaching into the tank.
Given that all the parameters are stable.
Any pests?

There may be no perceived changes, but if it is bleaching then something is definitely going on. At that point you need to check all of your parameters. It's also good practice to check your parameters regularly to see how much they fluctuate. I would also watch the temperature of the tank since seasonal changes can impact our aquariums significantly.
