I have a torch coral that I noticed is starting to bleach. I down sized tanks about a month ago. Would it take that long if it was getting to much light. Only thing that has changed beside depth of tank is my po4 has gone up some but that's about it. All. Other parameters stable. Since the switch. Could flow also play a roll in bleaching?
Thanks

If the downsize of the tank was significant then yes ypu wpuld also want to lower the light intensity.

To what % I really don't know and a PAR meter would be perfect for this.
Thanks for helping @MERKEY. You are def. My go to when it comes to torch questions. OP check out his build thread he has an amazing torch garden.

OK thanks I will do that

@MERKEY i have turned lights down and even moved it to a lower area of light but it is slowly bleaching. I have been trying to feed it atleast once a week to make sure it is getting food is there anything else you can think of I could try.

No it has come down from 5/25 at .85 to today to .18 didn't think I was doing different to drop it but must have somewhere.

I have been battling dinos so maybe that's where my nutrients are going doing the poroxide at night and mb7 during the day

Ya that's a lot for them to deal with.

I'd say it is due to the swing in po4 and dinos.

Just try to keep things as stable as possible and there will be a chance it comes around.
