Is this coral beginning to bleach?

Looks like it. It's browned out too.
Tell us what's been going on and parameters
Btw i figured out the second pic is just a small piece got knocked off during my waterchange.
Im going to go through it all for you lol

112 gallon redsea reefer 425xl with 6 fish and coral.

SO i bought this sps (from tsa in store but it is not aquacultured) on may 15 along with a tnt acro and dan aykroyd acro which are doing fine. Everything was good but no polyp extension since i bought it, it slowly began to loose a little color i believe. I do my normal water change every week and 25 percent. Then last week i went on vacation for 7 days and returned Saturday to fish with ich but corals and tank was still doing great. Then yesterday i noticed the bleaching. Ive setup a quarantine and have moved 3 of my 6 fish over so far to treat tomorrow for 76 days so my dt will be cured. I feed once a day about half a frozen shrimp cube and a little seaweed for my tang as well my auto feeder feeds 5 Neptune pellets which my blotched anthias and clownfish eat 3 times a day. i run my 3 ai hydra 32s for 7 hours a day at 80 percent UV violet royal and blue and 15 cool white with a 1 hr ramp up and down time. I run 2 mp40s on the side of the tank running reef crest at 25 %. I run a red sea reefmat and i run the redsea smaller sk 600 i think. I run a Neptune pump with probably a 10-12 time tank turnover. also i dose a very small amount of alk and cal through the apex dos.

Need anymore? just let me know thanks.

calibrated trident
Alkalinity- 7.44 normally around 7.77 just did water change day before
calcium - 438
magnesium - 1336

Hanna checker parameters
Alk - 8.1
Nitrate HR- 2.4
Phosphate ULR- 0.04

Redsea test kit
Alk - 7.9
Cal- 435
Mg- 1140

Ph from apex max of around 7.8 during the day and 7.69 during the night and about the same from red sea kit
Temp from apex max 78.7 low of 76.8
Salinity from apex is 32.9 ppt constant from tunze ato ( don't necessarily trust over Hanna and refractometer)
Salinity 34.4 ppt from hanna and 36 ppt from brs refractometer

How did you acclimate them? Did you dip? Any pests come off?
Do you think you have enough flow?

Numbers look good other than the discrepancy of Mg and SG.

Has it progressed?

1 hour drip acclimation with a 7 minute coral rx pro dip not sure if any pest came off. I’m not sure if I have enough flow every time I try to turn it up my torches get blasted and close up. And yea not sure what’s up with mg tests I’m going to go buy an aquforest test heard good things.
This is a picture of it today before the lights came on just like the other.looks identical to me

To be honest, I stopped doing any dip acclimating on all my coral years ago. It's too stressful on them. I do dip and in they go. Some people glue them to the spot but I like to do a light acclimation.

It's hard to get a good flow pattern with 2 powerheads. I have 3 in my 75. 2 wav and 1 mp40.

If it's not progressing, just watch it. I have had many do the same thing I'm seeing in your coral. If by chance it does progress, cut off that area, but I don't think it will continue. Looks like the polyps are coming out in that 2nd pic.

I like my aquaforest MG test kit. Worth the money.

where do you have your pumps located and do you have all sps or mixed reef?

I am mixed, LPS, sps and a Maxima.
The wav are on wav end pointing diagonally to the back glass and my MP40 is on the back glass pointing straight forward. I have varied flow throughout the day and a little calmer at night. Not a great pic, but you get the idea.

Would there be a reason it’s happpening to this sps and not my all my others?
If it is only happening to one, I wouldn't do anything but keep an eye on it (and your other coral). Hard to say what is causing it.......unfortunately sometimes it just happens with no obvious reason. Might want to bring up your nitrates and phosphates a bit. Those are low enough where they might be close to zero due to the accuracy of the meters. Other than that, everything looks pretty good.

I would bet money that the CoralRX dip damaged the coral. I have lost so many SPS, years ago before I knew better, from dipping them in that toxic stuff.

Just a side note.... Please understand, there is a reason that there is no mention of red bugs, white bugs or black bugs on the list of pests it kills ;)

Do you dip your sps at all

I do. I have a very strict process when bringing new pieces in. Starts with a temp QT. After the pieces de stress for a couple days in that, I then use the home made Bayer (now renamed Bio Advance) dip recipe. It is the only dip that I know of that kills all the typical acro pests. I know because over the years I struggled with pests and had the opportunity to run tests on them to see what works and what doesn’t.

I also never keep a plug from a new arrival. I always cut the frag off and remount it after dipping.
