I have a coral dip. Unfortunately... I’ve never actually used it. I know. I’m breaking the rules. I didn’t know about dipping corals when I first started either. This is what I have.

Now I know I need power heads... and I really should order some new rock. I’m less than impressed with the rock work in the tank currently.

That is what i use, but i have mainly lps and softies. I understand that most people with sps swear by a certain bayer insecticide as a dip. I have had good luck with coral rx for new frags, hydrogen peroxide for zoas, and iodine for a dying candy cane that looks super happy now.

Well. Someone decided that the acro needed to be flipped. Glad I didn’t take him out of the cup yet. Why don’t they make any frag racks that have covers?

I went to Georgia tech for undergrad. I basically cheer for not uga. Lol. I also currently attend clemson. Again... uga isn’t going to go over big with me with that allegiance.

Found one here at MACNA they were selling with a TSA approved carrier that uses citrus and lavender.

A frag-flipping jerk face remains abound! What little experience I have with corals on racks has indicated that they're never really safe. You can attach more weight to the bottom of the plug that goes through the hole (fishing weights work well) or potentially modify an acclimation box/put the rack inside the box. That'd effectively be a closed-off rack.

Just harvested my first Chaeto, care of @Silver14SS. Happy to say that it’s growing extremely well. Also, there’s the pretty pink urchin he gave me in the sump!

What I harvested and what I left. What I left is about what I started with a few weeks ago.
