Blend dies

Hey guys just got a blenny last night. I woke this morning to see him dead. No aggressive fish in tank.

I poked holes in the bad he came in. I left him in the bag in the tank with the holes for about 45min. then I let him go swam away no problems.

I think it was stress related. If you plan to add another I would float the bag for 15 minutes, then I would either put the live stock in a smaller container or secure the bag, next I would add small amounts of water every five minutes or so I do this for about an hour. this is the method I use and have had success. You could also get a drip acclimation tube for pretty cheap and drip acclimate. Hope this helps you good luck!
 
yea, I was thinking the pumps too. None of my other fish in the tank have been damaged by the pumps. Next time I will try a better method see if it works.
