Hello,

I'm thinking of getting a midas blenny. I've had them before and loved it's personality.
My only concern is that I have a few barnacle blennies. I've read online that blennies don't mix well together in the same tank. Barnacle blennies hide in empty snail shells and small crevices in rocks. Will the midas blenny actually go after the barnacle blenny? Or vice versa? I've never seen aggression from either of them but have never kept them together in one tank before.

Or are there other reef safe yellow fish anyone can recommend for a 40 gallon breeder tank?

I had a yellow coris wrasse, and I know wrasses are not considered real reef safe most of the time but mine was a model citizen.
