My starry blenny has become aggressive with my pink spotted diamond goby. I would like to avoid rehoming one of them if possible. The blenny is not aggressive towards any other fish and I noticed the aggression starting after I cut back on feeding. I’ve since started feeding more again. The goby sits in one corner and has a shredded fin.

My question is, do you think there’s anything I can do to stop the aggression or should I immediately rehome one of them? I considered putting the blenny in an acclimation box but will need to buy one and rearranging the scape. Looking for other suggestions as well.

I had a starry blenny , it was ok for a few weeks then got aggressive with my hand and my other fish . Great fish but it had to go . It would even attack my foxface .

Blennies like to be jerks sometimes....
I just googled pics of them both, they look rather similar, makes me think the aggression will continue,

They do, which was one of my concerns, but they have different niches and habits so thought it would be okay. The blenny may need to go though..

Lawnmower and especially starry are known aggressive and will pound on rocks for calcium and while at work, which is throughout the day chase smaller fish
