Hey guys! Wondering what this blue/black spot is underneath the blenny?
have had it since I’ve gotten it, which is about a week or so. Otherwise eats well, is behaving well. Other fishes are doing well too.

I can provide more clear pictures/Video

Fish is somewhat thin and appears to have an internal infection.
Is it eating? If so what are you offering it?

These fish are not the easiest to keep and often are subject to starvation. What will happen is it develops internal parasites compete with the fish for energy needs and with this fish lacking a swim bladder, they must utilize additional energy to maintain their swim position why they are often seen head up. Feeding them often with food such as mysis shrimp and chopped krill best fills their needs. Often they are fed pellets which are the worse food for them.
If internal issues, you can treat with PraziPro but no guarantee if internal, will be resolved

I do not see anything worrisome - with regards to the spot. What symptom are you worried about - though it does look thin as @vetteguy53081 More history would be helpful

I’ve fed it mysis soaked in garlic/selcon, spirulina mysis, herbivore frenzy, tdo pellets and it does pick at the nori that is there for the tangs.
it’s eating very well and is competing with other fishes to get the first dibs at food.

im assuming Prazipro would be in isolation in QT?

Not too sure, I did some research on the grey area which often seems more swollen at night than in the daytime. The results often lead to parasite diagnosis which I was worried about.
I can try providing better pictures, it’s definitely not as skinny as it looks here.

Prazi can safely be applied to display tank and I often suggest to dose at 85% of recommended based on gycol in the solution and useable gallons. If you use Prazi, apply initial dosage known as an interval for 8 days, do a water change and do one more 8 day dose interval
Use airstone with prazi as it does reduce both oxygen and appetite

Midas Blennys typically have that blue spot on their bellies. Mine does. He is quite healthy and a heavy eater sometimes these guys like to perch and hang out but mine is constantly swimming and constantly the most hungry fish. I try to feed him heavily. I am no expert by any means but I think that color is part of the intestine and rectum that you see. Judging by where mine poops…
