Blenny compatibility

I bought a Black Sailfin Blenny a while back and he doesn't eat any algae off the rocks. I've got some hair algae I’d really like him to help met out with, but he's just not interested. Is it a bad idea to even consider putting an Algae Blenny (lawnmower blenny) in the tank? Anyone have experience with these two fish together? 72g bow.

Blennys seem to only eat GHA that’s just starting to grow

I brought the black sailfin to the lfs and put the lawnmower in the tank.
