Anyone else’s Bicolour Blenny have markings that show up under bluer lights?

I was really worried the first night I noticed this but he seems happy and healthy enough!

I don’t have a bicolour Blenny but my Midas Blenny shifts his colour if lights change and goes straight back to yellow when white lights come on so I’d say from that you’re okay.

A number of different blennies do this same thing at night (or sometimes when they're frightened/stressed). It's a form of camouflage that helps them blend into the rocks. My tailspot does it every night and did it a bunch when I first got it.

The first time I noticed this on my bicolor was at night after the lights were out and I shined a light on him. I thought he was sick or something before I realized it wasnm normal.

My watchmans spots glow under blues ❤️
I just purchased a very small, baby Watchman goby. He's so small that his spots really are barely noticeable, at this point. But I am looking forward to eventually seeing same thing that you experience.

Just thought, perhaps I'll pull out my lrg magnifying glass, while he's up against the tank glass
