This may not be the right place but I have a gold fish that seems to be blind.

It is running into just about every thing in the tank.

If any one has any experience with this or knows where there is information on this I would greatly appreciate it. I would hate to have this fish die if there is something I can do to help it along.

Blind fish can live for some time in captivity. Keep the water clean and make sure he is able to get food.

thanks it seems to be sticking to the bottom of the tank. I watched him for a while this morning and it seems that it cant even find the food even when its floating all through the tank. should this be cause for concern?

oh my I can be stupid at times lol. What I was trying to say is should I put it in a smaller tank. currently it is in a 54 gallon corner tank and I have a 20 gallon planted tank I can put it in

I had a blind fish that I trained to eat out of a turkey baster. Just got to put the food directly in front of its mouth and hopefully it will learn to grab for it when it senses it in the water.
